Who we are

Ember Labs operates at emberlabs.au. We provide AI-powered client acquisition services for established Australian businesses. Our principal contact is Dave Bock at hello@emberlabs.au.

Ember Labs is a trading name of Ember Group Australia.

What we collect and why

When you run the free Business Brain Scan, we collect:

• Your website URL — to analyse your site, content history, reviews, and competitive landscape. This is the input to the Scan.
• Your name and email address — to deliver your Business Brain Scan to your inbox and, if relevant, to follow up about Ember.

We do not ask for your phone number at the point of scan. We do not require a credit card. We do not use your data to train AI models.

How your data is used

Your website URL and business data are used to produce your Business Brain Scan. After that, your name and email are used to send you the report, and — if you do not opt out — occasional follow-up messages about whether Ember might make sense for your business.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. One click, no questions asked.

If you become a client, we hold data relating to your Business Brain, your content, and your pipeline on our platform. This data is yours — you can export it or ask us to delete it. To produce content and analysis, we send the data needed for each task to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing; under Anthropic's commercial terms, your inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train any models of our own.

Where your data is processed

Ember Labs is built and operated in Australia. To deliver the service, some of your data is processed by trusted providers outside Australia — including our AI provider (Anthropic, in the United States) and our hosting and database providers. We choose providers whose commercial terms commit them not to train their models on your data. If your business needs data to stay within Australia, talk to us and we'll discuss the options.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses minimal analytics to understand how visitors interact with it — page views and general traffic patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Third parties

Our platform infrastructure is operated by GoHighLevel. The calendar and form embeds on our Scan pages are served by their systems. Their privacy policy applies to data processed through those embeds. We do not sell or share your data with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (and applicable Australian Privacy Principles), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information
• Withdraw consent to ongoing communications

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@emberlabs.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in any case, within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business develops. Material changes will be noted here with a revised date. If you have an active subscription, we will notify you directly of any significant change.
