Ember Labs in Papua New Guinea

Almost the same clock as Adelaide. That's a genuine advantage, not a marketing line.

We don't have an office in PNG, and we're not implying one. What we do have: a time zone within half an hour of Adelaide's, a process built to handle patchy connectivity rather than assume it away, and one fixed price agreed before anything starts.

Real-time collaboration, not just async handoffs.

Sound familiar?

Resource, logistics, and agriculture businesses run on paperwork that doesn't talk to itself.

A freight or export manifest re-typed into a second system because the first one doesn't export cleanly. A site report that exists on paper until someone drives it back to an office with a signal. A compliance form filled out the same way every time, by someone who could be doing something that actually needs a person. None of that needs a generic chatbot — it needs software built for how the work actually gets done, including the parts that don't assume a constant connection.

How this actually works, stated plainly

No in-country presence. A genuinely close time zone instead.

Within half an hour, either way.

PNG doesn't observe daylight saving; Adelaide does. That puts the two within half an hour of each other all year — near enough for a real-time call most days.

Built for the connection you actually have.

If connectivity is patchy on your end, that's a design input, not an afterthought — lighter, more resilient builds where it genuinely matters.

Handed over, not held hostage.

You own what gets built — codebase or agent — with an optional $49–99/mo to keep it hosted, fixed, and current.

Questions worth asking before working with us remotely

No. Ember Labs is based in Adelaide, South Australia — there's no PNG office and no local partner standing in for us. Every build is scoped, delivered, and supported remotely, the same as anywhere else outside Adelaide.

Barely. PNG runs within half an hour of Adelaide time, in one direction or the other depending on which side is in daylight saving — closer to us than most of mainland Australia gets. Scheduling a call is rarely the hard part.

Tell us upfront if connectivity is inconsistent, and we design around it — lighter pages, less reliance on a constant connection, offline-friendly patterns where it matters. It's a design decision we make with you, not something we ignore and let you discover later.

Not as a standard part of the process. Everything runs over video and email, the same as every client outside Adelaide — there's no in-person step we're quietly skipping.
